Argireline

What is Argireline?

Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8) is a synthetic peptide used in high-end skincare to reduce wrinkles caused by facial muscle movement. It works by inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters (catecholamines) that cause muscle contraction, similar to Botox but less potent and non-invasive. It specifically targets the SNARE complex to relax facial tension. Clinical studies have shown significant reduction in wrinkle depth, particularly around the eyes and forehead, with regular topical use.
