St. Petersburg Pulmonology Research Institute

Study Details

Patients with moderate COPD were given Bronchogen (synthetic lung peptide) alongside standard bronchodilators.

Results

The Bronchogen group experienced a faster resolution of exacerbations. Lung function tests (FEV1) showed significant improvement compared to the control group receiving only bronchodilators.

Conclusion

Bronchogen improves the structural integrity of the bronchial mucosa and lung alveoli.

Key Findings

  • Improved lung function (FEV1)
  • Reduced respiratory symptoms
  • Fewer exacerbations

Mechanism of Action

Stimulates regeneration of the bronchial epithelium and surfactant production.
