AOD-9604

What is AOD-9604?

AOD-9604 (Anti-Obesity Drug) is a modified fragment of human growth hormone (residues 177-191). It was developed to mimic the fat-burning properties of HGH without the growth-promoting or insulin-resistance effects.

Mechanism of Action

It stimulates lipolysis (fat breakdown) and inhibits lipogenesis (fat formation). It does not bind to the HGH receptor with high affinity, thus avoiding effects on IGF-1 and insulin sensitivity.
