AOD-9604

What is AOD-9604?

AOD-9604 is a synthetic fragment of human growth hormone (HGH) engineered to target fat metabolism WITHOUT growth-related effects. Mimics the fat-burning region of HGH. Dual mechanism: enhances lipolysis in adipose tissue (releases fatty acids for energy) AND inhibits creation of new fat cells. Targets stubborn fat (abdomen, thighs, hips). IMPORTANT: Development STOPPED in 2007 after mixed clinical trial results - did NOT significantly reduce weight in 536 subjects over 24 weeks at 1mg daily vs placebo. Still used in wellness clinics as research peptide with diet/exercise.
