How to Cycle Bioregulators: Course Length, Breaks and Bottle Math
Bioregulators are taken as courses, not forever. Here is how long a course runs, how often people repeat it, how many to take at once, and how many bottles you need.
Table of Contents
Short answer: Natural bioregulators are taken in courses. Vita Peptides' current label gives a one-month course (singles: 2 capsules, 1-2 times daily; complexes: 1-2 capsules, 1-2 times daily). The brand's FAQ describes repeating courses periodically, commonly 2-3 times per year, with breaks in between. Older GARMONIA packaging used shorter 10-day courses. No controlled study has established the best schedule.

Why cycle at all?
The Khavinson tradition treats bioregulators as periodic signals rather than daily supplements. The historical clinical studies used short courses repeated over years (for example PMID 14523363, with injectable extracts). That tradition, not modern dose-finding trials, is where today's schedules come from.
The two schedules you will see
| Schedule | Source | Course | Repeat |
|---|---|---|---|
| One-month course | Vita Peptides V2 label | 1 month | Commonly 2-3 courses per year (brand FAQ) |
| 10-day course | Legacy FAQ written for 20-capsule GARMONIA packs | 10 days at 2 capsules/day | Every 6 months for general support; every 2-3 months or monthly "if need is greater" |
We recommend following the label on the product you actually bought.
Bottle math
| Product type | Daily amount | Capsules per month | What to buy for one course |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single (low label dose) | 2 capsules | 60 | One 60-capsule bottle |
| Single (high label dose) | 4 capsules | 120 | Two 60-capsule bottles |
| Complex (low label dose) | 1 capsule | 30 | One 30-capsule bottle |
| Complex (high label dose) | 2 capsules | 60 | One 60-capsule bottle |
Prices on Vita-Stream (October 6, 2026): singles $67.50 for 30 capsules or $135 for 60; Vita Defender $107.50 / $215; Vita Man, Vita Woman and Vita Detox $144.50 / $289. (Affiliate links.)
A sample year (example only)
- January: one-month course of your main goal, for example Vita Defender.
- February to May: break.
- June: second course, optionally with one added single for another goal.
- July to October: break.
- November: third course if the first two seemed worthwhile.
How many at once?
Vita-Stream's legacy FAQ says taking up to five complexes at the same time is acceptable. We think beginners should start with one or two, so you can tell what, if anything, is doing something. Complexes are the easy way to cover several tissues: Vita Defender's 60 capsules provide the same total peptide amount as three 60-capsule singles for $215 instead of $405.
Timing tips
- Take capsules consistently, at the same times each day.
- Do not double up after a missed dose; just continue.
- Keep a simple log so the break-then-repeat decision is based on something.
Who should check with a clinician first
Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding (a label contraindication), takes thyroid or hormone medication (relevant to Thyrix and the Vita Man / Vita Woman complexes, which contain thyroid peptides), has a chronic condition, or plans to combine several products.
